Default Collector's edition BOX

Will there only be one box, with the ritualist on it? Because i want an assassin box but I preordered Collector's for the Soundtrack.

Or maybe it is a double sided box with one side assassin and one side ritualist?

I like the assassin box > ritualist box.

There's 1 version of the collectors box (ritualist) and 2 of the standard, though they could do the standard with 2 sides like the original game, one side has the assassin, the other the ritualist. In response to the other question, the original collectors only had the necro.

The non-collectors version of prophecies has Eve (necro) on the front, and that warrior guy on the back. Has anyone been able to get the prophecies box of Mhenlo on it? Or was that a SCRAPPED boxart image...

The first release -- Guild Wars Prophecies -- had three boxes for the Standard Edition. Each side had a different character, of course. So yes, you had the six core professions on one side or the other of the Standard Edition. Both sides had flaps to open, for more lovely game art.

The Collector's Edition featured Eve, the Necromancer holding the skull. There was just one CE, as there will be just one CE for Factions. The Factions CE features the Ritualist, as you have seen.

As I recall from the mockup I saw a few weeks ago, the Factions Standard Edition box will have the Assassin on one side and the Ritualist on the other. So you'll have the best of both worlds.

You can see it here. The box will be identical for the North America and Europe with the exception of some text, such as the rating icon.

Eh... "Special Dance Emotes for Ritualist and Assassin"

Does that mean they get an actual new dance or just their hands light up?

The glowing hands is a result of adding GW: Factions (of either type, Collector's or normal) to the Collector's of Prophecies (old, current GW). "Special Dance Emotes" just means that the two professions get backup dancers while they perform their normal /dance :o

...and that is the main reason why I'm buying the CE.

Gaile: Who is the warrior on the Prophecies box? Why do we get these random people as the char art for ranger and mesmer (PvP selection). Why is there like nothing in the story about Eve, but she's on the cover of the CE box and is a "hero" henchy?

i think the purple haired assassin on the cover is probably Nika's (purple haired assassin henchie) great great great great grandma. Because in the cinematic, the event where she stuns the Shiro-guy took place 200 years before Factions. i dont know i just felt like saying this.
